Lara Frances : “High on Life”

Since the release of her debut album “High on Life” in 2007, Lara Frances has been 
making an impression as one of the most talented and popular new artists on the South African music scene.

The title track on her album, “High on Life”, is pure polished pop celebrating life and independence with an irresistible melody. “High on Life” can be heard almost daily on KFM and was also playlisted on HIGHVELD STEREO, OFM and various campus-and community radio stations. It reached the no 1 position on KFM Homebrew Top 10. The second single “Scream”, was playlisted on JACARANDA fm, KFM and HIGHVELD Stereo.

The video of “High on Life” reached the number 3 position on MK89 Top 10 charts and has also been screened as a programfiller on SABC 3 and SABC 2. 

Lara and her bands performs nationwide. Lara has been writing new songs, with more of a rock feel and she currently includes these new songs in her live performances. She was invited to open for Karen Zoid at Klein Libertas in Stellenbosch in November last year and Henry Ate has asked Lara to perform with them at Klein Libertas on Saturday 3 May 2008.
